About Us

The founder of Tiki Trailers, Heiti Hääl, came up with the business idea while on a vacation in Finland.

On the ferry over to Finland, Heiti read in the Estonian newspaper Õhtuleht that the Estonian SSR was allocated only 78 trailers annually, despite the actual need being around 1,000.

While in Finland, he came across a trailer rental spot at a gas station and decided to bring one back to Estonia as a sample.
Just four months later, Tiki Trailers was born!

At first, the Tiki Trailers was producing around 200 trailers a year, with most of them being sold to Finland, as the hot-dip galvanized metal trailers were too expensive for Estonians at the time.

Today, the company has grown significantly and manufactures over 20,000 trailers per year.

In 2019, Tiki Trailers opened its doors to a new modern state of the art production and manufacturing facility in Paldiski.

In a factory area of 25,000 m2, Tiki Trailers now produces just over 20,000 trailers per year and cover nearly 20,000 tons of metal with various surface coatings.

90% of the Tiki Trailers production is exported to nearly 10 different countries…and today that now includes UK and Ireland.

Tiki Trailers has been manufacturing an innovative and pioneering range of trailers for the Baltic and Scandinavian markets for over 35-years.

Tiki Trailers is now available in UK and Ireland.
